South Island Dance Network
The South Island Dance Network (SIDN) was established by the Dance and Physical Thrust in 2007. The vision of the network is to establish a strong voice for dance throughout the South Island by supporting and sustaining dance projects and artistic development.
www.sidn.org.nz offers visitors an online dance directory of dance classes, workshops, services and events, as well as frequent e-mail outs to encourage networking and contact within the dance community. Our two administrators in Dunedin and Christchurch offer support and advice as well as acting as a first point of call for details pertaining to dance in their respective regions.
By gaining and providing more information about the dance community we hope to provide increased employment opportunities and extend the ever-flourishing popularity of dance throughout the South Island.
