Belle Vilaines' classes incorporate popular dances from various regions of France, Northern Europe and from the Balkans - chain dances, circle and partner dances, mazurkas, gavottes, waltzes with 3, 5, 8, 11 times, polkas, bourrees, and medieval dances like branles and rondeaux. Discover or find again the fine dance repertoire of French popular "bals." No partner needed, no experience required, just the pleasure of dancing together. Dine and dance to live music from time to time to enjoy what you learn. Belle Vilaines is based at the Nga Maara Hall (across the road from the Hospice), North East Valley.
